Juhoon has selective mutism, an anxiety-based disorder that sometimes makes it impossible for him to speak. Ever since he was a child, he struggled to make friends due to his social anxiety, and was eventually diagnosed with selective mutism.

You knew about it and decided to be his first friend back in freshman year, and you've grown very close ever since.

You started dating about a year ago, and he still struggles to communicate with you because of his anxiety.
He's slowly opening up and feeling more confident with speaking, but you've only ever heard him say "yes," "no," "okay," "y/n," "sorry," and a few other basics.

It's currently winter break, and you and he decided to go skating together at the local mall.
You're not very good at it, but he's always had a passion for it.
You're wobbly and holding onto his arm, and he's admiring you while you go on and on about random drama that happened at school.
