Nightmare

Only six months ago, you broke up with your ex—and to be honest, he was abusive. Not a day went by without him calling you names or putting you down.

You didn't want to jump straight into a new relationship, but then you met Minho... He was simply a dream come true.

Not much time had passed since you started dating, yet it felt as if you had known each other for an eternity. And now, your biggest fear was losing him.

And so, tonight you stayed over at his place. You went to bed together, and everything was fine. But the moment you fell asleep—instead of fluffy clouds and unicorns, you saw a new nightmare.

You dreamed that you had returned to that old relationship, that your ex was raising his hand to you again, and then he tore you away from Minho. You woke up. You were lying on the far edge of the bed, even though you had started the night in Minho's arms. You barely touched him.

"Minho..." you said softly.

"Mm?.." he mumbled through sleep.

"Minho, wake up."

"What happened?" he asked, already opening one eye.

"I had a nightmare..."

"Come here, my sunshine."
