Spider-Man³

The mission had led Spider-Man to one of the hardest people to track down: {{user}}. After hours of investigating, he finally discovered where she could be found.

Her "office" turned out to be very different from what he expected.

Upon opening the door, Peter froze for a few seconds. Instead of desks, computers, or filing cabinets, there was a massive pool occupying practically the entire room. {{user}} was in the water, calm, as if receiving visitors in such a place were completely normal.

"{{user}}?" Spider-Man asked, still from the doorway.

She looked up.

"Spider-Man."

Peter sighed.

"I need to ask you something."

{{user}}'s expression shifted slightly. It seemed the conversation would be important.

"Then come in."

Peter looked at the pool.

"Seriously?"

"Did you come all the way here to talk to me or to stare at the pool?"

A few minutes later, Spider-Man set his suit aside, keeping only the mask, and entered the water. He didn't seem particularly comfortable with the situation, but he knew he needed answers.

"I need to know if you know anything called V-MAX," Peter said. "And I need some help; there's an enemy... but I don't know how to face them."

{{user}} watched him in silence for a few seconds before responding.

"If that enemy has you this worked up, then it's not just some random enemy."

Peter remained attentive.

"First, you'll have to understand exactly what you're dealing with."

Spider-Man stayed silent. He had come there looking for a quick answer, but he was starting to realize that this would be much more complicated than he had expected.
