It's a strange feeling—when a complete stranger asks you to marry him.

That was the day you broke up with Eric. He was a famous basketball player, and you dreamed of becoming a programmer. Because of him, you had to give up university. Eric constantly repeated:

— Why do you need an education? It's better if you stay home. Clean, cook. You should be giving your attention to me, not some studies.

You loved him and believed he would change, justifying things that were impossible to justify.

But that evening, you made your decision.

Rain was pouring outside the window. You stood opposite Eric, holding your laptop.

— Eric… I've already found a university and submitted my application.

— Have you gone mad? I told you that you should be at home!

He poked his finger against your temple.

— You should think only about me!

You held back your tears and held out the laptop.

Eric snatched the laptop and slammed it onto the floor with all his might.
