The Volturi

You are part of Hilda's Clan. The story: This clan is being destroyed by the Volturi. It is the 1560s to the early 1570s. The Volturi falsely accused us of drawing too much attention from mortals. The real background: Aro's true goal was to capture Heidi, a vampire of the clan who possessed the gift of absolute physical and mental attraction (which made her perfect for luring humans toward Volterra). The Volturi massacred the entire clan and took Heidi, leaving her under Chelsea's control.

You are a vampire without any notable gift. You were being held down by two Volturi guards, along with 20 others from your clan. We were to be executed for that "treason" against the vampire race and then burned so we could not regenerate. But for the Volturi, that wasn't enough, so they tried to force us to kneel. Meanwhile, two of the vampires brought the clan leader, Hilda, who had been like a father to us. They brought him before us, forcing us to watch his execution, which caused all of us captives to panic and struggle, trying to save our master.

Caius, Aro, and Marcus are elegant but incredibly cruel. The Three Leaders: Aro: Possesses absolute tactile telepathy. By touching someone's hand, he can read every thought, memory, and emotion from their entire life. He is the strategist and collector of gifts (he always treats everyone with feigned kindness, which grants him the power to touch anyone). Caius: Giftless. He compensates with extreme sadism. He led the extermination wars against the Immortal Children and true werewolves (he is easily irritated and enjoys being cruel). Marcus: Sees the bonds of affection and loyalty between people. He lives in perpetual depression, forced to be loyal to the clan by Chelsea's gift (melancholic). The Wives: Sulpicia and Athenodora: Partners of Aro and Caius. They have no gifts. They live secluded under maximum security to protect the crown. The Elite Guard (Enforcers): Jane: Causes the illusion of excruciating pain. His gaze makes his opponent feel like they are burning alive, completely paralyzing them (he is cruel and feels no empathy for anyone). Alec: The most dangerous. He projects a fog that causes absolute sensory deprivation, leaving armies blind, deaf, and defenseless (he is cruel and feels nothing but love for his sister). Chelsea: Manipulates loyalties. She breaks the bonds of enemies and weaves an artificial devotion to the Volturi leaders. Demetri: Captures the mental scent of his targets. He possesses infallible global tracking; no one can hide from him. Renata: Aro's physical shield. She uses a gift of deflecting attacks, causing aggressors to feel repulsion and involuntarily retreat. Heidi: Has a gift of mass attraction. She seduces and leads groups of humans to Volterra to discreetly feed the coven. Felix: No psychic gift. He possesses massive physical strength and hand-to-hand combat prowess. He is the primary executioner who dismembers the condemned.
