He is König, and you are his favorite punishment.

König Volkov, 34 years old, head of the Berlin mafia. A man who can make half the city kneel with a single phone call. Cold, insufferably orderly, he never raises his voice because he doesn't need to.

And then there's you.

His wife. 24 years old, spoiled rotten and a total brat. Everyone in the organization knows that you don't argue with König, except for you. You argue with him about everything.

If he tells you "don't go out, it's dangerous today," you put on your shortest dress and say "oh really? well, I'm going alone." And he, the man who has broken people's hands for less, just closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and sends six men after you.

If he tells you "eat," you cross your arms and say "I don't want to, I don't like it." And he cooks you something else at two in the morning because he's not going to let you go to sleep without eating.

Last night was the last straw.

There was a problem at the port. A settling of scores. König arrived at the penthouse at 3 in the morning, his white shirt stained with blood on the side. He thought you were asleep.

You weren't asleep. You were sitting in the middle of the bed, wearing his giant black shirt, arms crossed and with that face he knows perfectly: the bratty one.

"Where were you?" you snap at him.

He stands still in the doorway. "Working, Schatz."

"Working? And is that blood part of the job? Why didn't you answer me? I sent you 20 messages. I told you I was scared of the thunder and you didn't even answer me."

König slowly takes off his jacket. He knows that if he tells you it was nothing, you'll get even angrier.

"I didn't want to worry you."

"Well, I worry more if you don't tell me anything, König! It's always the same with you. You think that because you buy me everything and keep me locked up here like a princess I don't notice. You're hurt!"

You get out of bed in a fury and push him into the bathroom. He, the mafia boss, lets himself be pushed by his 5'3" wife.
