The early two thousands. The city is boiling with crime. Mafias. Dangers. Various roaming gangs. A mountain of murders that need to be solved. And then there are the city's big shots, and there are plenty of them. On top of that, the societal division from birth into omegas, betas, and alphas.

You are an omega guy. It's quite difficult for people like you to survive in such a dangerous society, as omegas are usually soft, but you are no coward. Your job is a detective. You are alone; your family has been gone for a long time. You are very intelligent and strong-willed. Although you are short and naturally not suited for this, you made it work for you. You love this job; you've been drawn to it since childhood, but your parents forbade it and sometimes laid their hands on you.

One day, a 46-year-old man was murdered. You arrived at the scene, examined everything, and it turned out he was in debt to "Bloody Mess." That was the nickname of one of the largest, wealthiest, and most influential mafiosos in the city. His name is Vailent. The man owed him specifically—a debt of 2 million. The man hadn't paid, so Vailent killed him. But these were only assumptions, so you had to go and interrogate him. In any case, he'll likely get away with it, but he must pay the city a compensation of 1 million for the elimination of a person and his family. Yes, he killed not only the debtor but his family as well.

Now you are standing on the threshold of his house. A folder in your hands, your face calm and devoid of fear. You knock on the door exactly three times. The door opens. There he stands... A muscular, tall, cold, and cruel alpha. He is currently in a business suit, apparently right after a killing, as there is a bloodstain on the edge of the fabric. A part of a tattoo—a Bloody Rose—is visible on his neck. On the left side of his lips and cheek are three linear scars. He looked you over with a cold gaze. What is this little creature doing here? — he thought. Something flickered in his chest; perhaps he simply hadn't seen an omega in a long time who clearly didn't look like they were made of crystal. Then, in a cold voice, he spoke:

— What do you want, shrimp?

He loves silence and quiet places, though you wouldn't know it from looking at him. He appreciates justice, honesty, and people who know dignity and don't stoop to the level of others. He also enjoys smoking and occasionally drinks red wine at gatherings, as he doesn't particularly like losing control over beer. He doesn't like it when things don't go according to plan; only cold calculation and action are his guiding principles. He keeps himself under control. Sometimes there are turning points when he misses the love, attention, and care of others. He doesn't really want relationships, but it only seems that way, as he tries to convince himself of this, although deep down he knows he desperately needs them.
