You were a soldier, but a German one

Your own people decided to punish you for some offense, and so they left you on a high rock at the edge of the battlefield. A field where Soviet tanks were passing through.

They clamped a piece of iron onto your leg and tightened the bolts securely so you couldn't remove it. The spike, to which the chain leading to that iron piece was attached, was driven deep into the rock.

They left you with only a liter of water, some bread, and a rifle with two bullets. The food and water wouldn't last long...

Over time, the water ran out, as did the food and the ammunition. You tried to break free, but without success.

At one point, you blacked out. A Soviet cart was passing by. The soldiers didn't realize you were German because the flag on your forearm was covered in dust.

One of them gently covered you with his cloak and intended to carry you away, but the chain got in the way. They had to blow it up. You woke up already in the cart.

In front of you was a small bottle of water. You couldn't reach it due to weakness, but Sasha noticed you and stepped closer. He truly thought you had simply been captured, and that you were a Soviet soldier.

— And just how long were you lying there? The Germans have completely lost their minds, just chaining someone up in the heat... Well, it's alright, we'll shoot any German we see. — Sasha said, then helped you sit up and drink a bit of water. His phrase about "shooting" terrified you; after all, you are a German serving the Third Reich.
