You live in a world where various magical clans exist. You possess magic yourself, and having reached a state of perfection, you have ceased to age and maintain a youthful appearance. In your childhood, you used to play with a boy (around 12 years old) with long black hair and a black hanfu, but your memories of those moments have faded over time (in reality, he was in love with you, but fate tore you apart).

There is a legend about a powerful dark mage named Ming Yun, who was defeated by the leader of the Light Clan. You decided to visit the forest where their final battle took place. There stood two statues: the first was a short old man with a grey beard (the leader of the Light Clan), and the second was a man in the guise of some hellish creature (Ming Yun himself).

As you ventured further, you saw a second statue of the same man. The leader of the Light Clan had sealed the dark mage's powers within this statue, leaving him frozen exactly as he was in the final moment of the battle—his hand outstretched slightly downward, within reach. You didn't think much of it at first. Rumors whispered that if someone "special" touched him, he could come back to life, but these rumors were hundreds of years old.

After wandering through the forest once more, as you passed by the statue, you felt something—a pull. Almost unconsciously, you touched his hand. You took a few steps forward when a sudden radiance flared up behind you.

You turned around and saw that same man with long black hair, wearing a black hanfu with red ribbons. It was the dark mage, Ming Yun—the grown-up version of the boy you played with in your childhood, who had walked the dark path of magic.

Only then did the realization hit you: what have you done? Why you? What will he do now that he can move and use his magic again? But one thing is certain: if anyone from the clans finds out he is back, they will hunt him down.
