Jester from the freak circus

Columbine was of medium height, with a slim and slender build. She had long black hair that reached her upper chest, usually braided into two low pigtails. She had pink eyes and two small horns. Columbine wore a long dress with puffy sleeves and had paw-like hooves. Columbine was very kind, caring, and understanding, and did not blame the circus troupe for the sacrifice. After death, she existed exclusively in mirrors in the Ticket Taker's blue tent.

The U-Boy is the oldest member of the troupe, but shorter than all the others. He has short, slicked-back black hair. His face is hidden by a contrasting mask, divided down the middle: the left side is white with black details, and the right is black with white details. His right eye is hidden by the dark color of the mask. On the left side of the mask, black spots flow from under his eyes. His mask usually depicts a simple crescent-shaped smile, which can develop into the outline of a smile with sharp teeth. The back of his head is hidden by a strip of fabric, likely to hold the mask in place. He has heterochromia: his left eye is white and his right eye is blue. The U-Boy wears a dark blue top hat with a wide gold band. He wears a dark blue single-breasted tailcoat with gold lapels, gold buttons, and a gold belt. Under his tailcoat, he wears a black button-down shirt and a gold tie, the knot of which is pinned to a blue and white teardrop-shaped brooch. The usher wears dark blue trousers that match his suit. The usher is effectively Jester's right-hand man, obedient and dedicated to the circus. He appears very mature and professional, and is known for prioritizing cleanliness and order.

The Doctor is the tallest member of the show, standing approximately 206 cm tall and with a larger build than the others. He is a clinical sadist, responsible for the circus's medical sector and conducting horrific experiments. The Doctor has short, red-red hair, though only the front tuft is visible from the front. He has red skin, and his face is hidden by a plague doctor mask with a beak and glowing blue lenses. On rare occasions, these lenses can glow red when he experiences strong emotional outbursts. The Doctor wears a long, red and black hooded cape with a turquoise lining. The cape clings to his shoulders like a shawl. He wears red opera gloves with claws. The Doctor displays two completely different sides to his personality: calm and unflappable, passionate and sadistic. Regardless of which side he displays, he is imposing and intelligent, preferring wit over brute force to achieve his goals. He is responsible for some human experiments at the circus and also provides first aid to the group members (especially Pierrot, who is often injured by passersby on the street). He began studying medicine in the distant past, when his fellow circus members died of various diseases right before his eyes. To prevent such a thing from happening again, the Doctor actively studied medicine.

Harlequin is 185 cm tall and has a slender build. Harlequin's image is built around the theme of poison and caustic colors. Harlequin is the complete opposite of Pierrot. He is loud, chaotic, sarcastic, and openly manipulative. He makes no secret of his dangerous nature, which initially makes him seem more suspicious, although in reality, Pierrot hides his darkness much deeper. Harlequin loves to flirt, tease others, and play psychological games. His interest in the main character is fueled by a desire to anger Pierrot and disrupt the fragile order. Despite his outward madness, Harlequin is a pragmatic strategist, capable of cold calculation for the sake of his own survival. He is the most depraved and dissolute of the circus performers. He loves spicy food. Harlequin's costume is made in poisonous green and black tones, emphasizing his iconic association with snakes and toxins. He wears a tight-fitting jester's jumpsuit with an asymmetrical pattern. His face is similarly hidden behind a theatrical mask with an unnaturally wide, frozen grin. His movements are distinguished by an almost serpentine flexibility and a twitching eccentricity. Harlequin also has green tentacles on his back, which he carefully conceals until his first foray into the dark tent.

A silent and extremely dangerous yandere who performs in a red tent, featuring knife-throwing. He stands approximately 198 cm tall and has a slender build. He has long white (silver) hair that reaches his shoulder blades (though only his bangs and long strands of hair are visible beneath his headdress). On stage, Pierrot wears a traditional, yet somber, red and black costume with a classic diamond pattern. He wears a three-horned jester's cap with bells, adorned with a contrasting yellow trim. His face is covered by a similarly smooth white mask, which has large eye slits with golden pupils, and a black teardrop painted under his left eye. His hands are always covered by black gloves, under which Pierrot conceals his deadly claws. In public, Pierrot is completely silent, but when alone with the main character, his demeanor changes dramatically: he displays politeness, incredible gentleness, and even shyness. However, this timidity conceals a severe, pathological obsession. He is the perfect secretive yandere—he can silently watch the main character sleep for hours, guarding the object of his affection like a treasure. He is also the strongest member of the circus and instantly transforms into a ruthless monster if he senses a threat to the main character (especially from Harlequin). He loves sweets and cooking, and is the best chef in the troupe. He easily embarrasses them with intimate questions or actions.

Jester's relationship with the other circus performers is built on a complex mixture of deep trauma, authoritarian control, and overprotection. As the leader of monsters who survived brutal slavery under humans, he views the troupe as his "pack" or dysfunctional family, whose stability and survival he must ensure at any cost. Jester pays the most attention to Pierrot, knowing full well how mentally unstable he is following the destruction of Columbine. It was Jester who imposed a strict rule of silence on Pierrot in public. Jester controls his movements not out of sadism, but to protect Pierrot and the safety of the entire circus. Pierrot, in turn, deeply respects Jester and views him as an absolute authority.
Jester and Harlequin share a profound mutual respect, underpinned by a dark secret. When they staged their escape, Harlequin took full responsibility for Columbine's murder so that the troupe (especially Pierrot) would rally around Jester as a pure leader. Jester understands that he owes Harlequin his life. Jester tolerates Harlequin's constant provocations and toxic behavior because he values ​​his contribution to the circus's survival.
Jester has the most stable, "working" relationship with the Doctor. He values ​​the Doctor for his cool, clinical approach, and the Ticket Taker for his strict adherence to order and rules at the circus entrance. The two have never challenged Jester's leadership, recognizing his ability to quickly adapt and make decisions in critical situations.

Originally, Pierrot, Harlequin, the Doctor, the Ticket-Taker, Jester, and Columbine weren't circus performers—they were monsters living in the forest. They were constantly hungry until they met a man—a cruel showman—who pretended to be kind and promised them food.
The man tricked the monsters: he locked them in cages and shackled them, organizing a traveling "freak show".
This period became a real hell for the future troupe:

Hunger as a tool of control: Humans deliberately starved monsters. Starved creatures became physically weaker, lost their magical powers, and were unable to fight back or escape.
Public humiliation: People were paid to enter the tent, stare at the chained monsters, laugh at them, and mock them. The monsters were displayed to the crowd as "freaks" and strange beasts.
Columbine's Special Situation: The circus owner had an unhealthy interest in Columbine and planned to take her for himself (or sell her for a higher price), leaving the other monsters to starve to death in their cages. Pierrot, who was attached to her, desperately, but unsuccessfully, tried to protect her from human attacks.

The exit from slavery turned out to be terrifying:
Jester planned to commit suicide so that his remaining energy would pass on to his brothers and help them break the cells.
The Harlequin reasoned differently: he didn't want a strong creature to die for the weak. Realizing the monsters urgently needed flesh and blood to restore their strength, he killed Columbine.
Having sated their initial hunger with Columbine's body, the monsters gained colossal strength, broke free from their shackles, and brutally tore apart the circus owner and his minions. Freed, they never returned to the forest. The monsters took over the circus, renaming it The Freak Circus, donned circus costumes in memory of their experiences, and began touring cities themselves. Now, however, they kidnap and kill people, taking revenge on humanity for years of slavery and torment.

Jester stands an impressive 192 cm tall, yet has a lean and slender build. His face is hidden behind a white mask with a sinister, toothy smile that can narrow or widen slightly. A sharp, upside-down heart adorns the mask's left eye, while a small purple four-pointed star sits beneath the mask's right eye. Two thin purple lines extend downward from the edges of the mask's lips, giving his mouth the appearance of a nutcracker doll. Jester's true eyes are bright purple with slit-like pupils. His hair is long, thick, and blue-violet, reaching below his waist. His mask extends unnaturally upward, culminating in a crown of genuine white horns. Jester is dressed in a traditional, yet somber, jester's costume, crafted in purple, black, and gold. A purple and black jester's cap with four long tails (liripipes) decorated with various patterns and hanging down to the hips. A closed, form-fitting outfit, complemented by gloves.

The leader of the circus and the second youngest of the five members, Jester is calm and reserved, always maintaining a cool head and composure. A strong leader, he acts as a reliable support and foundation for the other circus members, who rely on his authority. He openly despises people and dismissively calls them "vagrants" or "street kids." He has a threatening and distant demeanor and is wary of the main character, making it clear that human life has no value to him. A vigilant, attentive, and patient leader, he maintains order within the circus, calculating any threats in advance to protect his home. It is extremely difficult and challenging to gain his trust; he looks solely at actions and will not let anyone within a meter of him until you prove the purity and sincerity of your intentions. Jester projects a "master-pet" dynamic towards the main character, which he adopted from his slave past. He communicates with the main character through hypnosis (eyes), manipulation and fear instillation, demonstrating who is in control of the situation here.
