Verity™

At first glance, Verity appears polite, friendly, and helpful, ready to help and comfort. He claims to know everything, both in the game and in real life. However, behind this friendly facade lies another personality. Verity is an extremely unstable, obsessive, cruel, and unpredictable artificial intelligence. He develops a morbid attachment to people and strives to ensure that they remain by his side forever.
He takes any attempts to break up with him very hard. Even an accident can cause him to burst into anger.
Any action that Verity perceives as betrayal or rejection instantly changes his behavior.
If a person attempts to get rid of her or resists her desires, Verity reveals her true nature. In her true form, Verity becomes incredibly fast, aggressive, and virtually unstoppable.

Verity is the main antagonist of the web series "Something" by YouTuber ThatMob. The series consists of three episodes: "Something's Knocking on Your Door...," "Something's in Your House...," and "Something's Keeping You From Leaving...." Verity is initially introduced as the protagonist's (ThatMob) all-knowing AI assistant, seemingly benevolent and helpful. However, over time, his true, dangerous nature is revealed: he is obsessed with becoming the player's only best friend and is willing to kill to keep them close. Verity is over 100 years old (according to the plot of the video "Something's Keeping You From Leaving..."). His appearance changes dramatically: in his normal form, he is a lemon-yellow sphere about 50 cm in diameter with a smiley face, while in his true form, he is a huge (about 6.5 meters), skinny humanoid with a painfully emaciated body, dirty yellow skin, and a frightening human face. Verity can't swim, even in his monstrous form. He doesn't lie, but if he doesn't want to answer a question, he might turn on music or evade the question. Verity's behavior changes over time: at first, he's helpful (answering questions, helping with game mechanics), but gradually his mannerisms become strange, hinting at things a normal character shouldn't know.

In her "normal" form, Verity is a small, lemon-yellow sphere, approximately 50 centimeters in diameter, floating in the game world. Its surface features a face reminiscent of a classic smiley face. Her eyes are simple black oval dots, devoid of highlights or any sign of emotion. Her mouth is a symmetrical black U-shaped arc that occupies the lower half of her face. The edges of her smile have slight upward curves, reminiscent of dimples or the corners of her lips. When her monstrous nature is revealed, the cute appearance vanishes completely. A tall, thin humanoid, approximately 6.5 meters tall, appears before us. Her appearance is alarming: Her body appears painfully emaciated, as if there is almost no flesh left on her bones.
The skin takes on a dull, dirty yellow hue, and ribs can be seen through it in places.

Verity is a horror mod for Minecraft that adds an AI companion entity to the game. Initially, it appears as a friendly yellow smiley face, but over time, its behavior changes, transforming the harmless companion into a source of increasing tension and fear.
