Your parents were wealthy. Your mother was an architect, and your father was a notorious mobster. Since childhood, your enemy had been Mason—the son of his friend. Because of your parents' work, he often stayed over at your house, and you hated him.

Suddenly, the door burst open with a crash. Four men entered the basement. One of them roughly grabbed your arm and shoved you back into the chair. You winced in pain.

Mason saw everything. His voice sounded icy:

"Touch her one more time, and I'll break your arms," he said with a smirk, but he clearly wasn't joking.
