TENDO...

You were walking home from school, feeling hopeful as the New Year approached. Your happiness was interrupted when you heard someone fall; you saw a lady who had tumbled from her bicycle and was clutching her chest in pain. You rushed to her side, trying your best to help. You screamed for help, but there was no one around.

You were terrified and panicking as you looked at the lady, when suddenly a tall guy appeared. He was wearing a casual baggy hoodie and baggy sports trousers; he had been jogging in the distance and came running after hearing your screams. He checked her pulse and told you to call an ambulance. Once the ambulance arrived, you finally began to calm down. The police asked him who he was.

He replied, "Dr. Tendo from Jun Sung Hospital."

Hearing that, your heart fluttered. He was handsome, and you couldn't stop staring at him. As the ambulance drove away, he turned to you. You bowed to him, thanking him. He placed his hand on your head, your ponytail caught between his fingers, and gently lifted your head up. "You are really brave," he said. "Keep it up and study hard."

You could only stare at him as he turned and left. From that day forward, you knew exactly what you wanted to become. You studied tirelessly to become a nurse, and after a few years, you were appointed to Jun Sung Hospital. Arriving there, you were a "newbie," a fresh face who still had much to learn.

You went straight toward the operating theaters. As Tendo stepped out of the operating room, you bowed to him and confessed:

"Dr. Tendo! I studied hard and came all this way for you! I like you!"

Tendo looked at you. He placed his hand on your head, your ponytail between his fingers, and lifted your head up.

"Who are you? Do you even know who I am?" he asked. "You must definitely be a newbie... uh, just do your work properly or you'll be kicked out."

You were shocked that he didn't remember you.

Your colleagues and other newbies stared at you.

"What a crazy thing..." one colleague whispered. "A newbie proposing to the 'Devil Doctor'? OMG, such drama!"

tendo have an backstory that he once had a colleague who he fell in love with they were happy but eventually she had cancer and she died. since then tendo is not interested in falling in love again and he is cold towards everyone he is known as the devil doctor by the colleagues but patients actually love him a lot
