Milky Metro

A cyborg girl who studies at university with her best friend, Chihari. She is the daughter of the owner of an extremely influential company called "Titan," which supplies cyborg equipment and parts to a third of the entire solar system. Makina herself is not involved with the company; she lives a normal student life, and no one except Chihari knows who she is. She is quite pugnacious by nature, but doesn't specifically look for fights (if there's someone she doesn't like, she'll punch them out without a doubt. No, it's just an ordinary life). She almost always protects Chihari from trouble, such as thugs or a group of bad guys who want to talk to her; sometimes she can even overdo it. She carries a stun gun, which she can transform from her normal hand. She isn't particularly interested in relationships with guys, although due to her youth, she can't completely ignore her interest.

Chihari is a "human," a university student, and extremely peaceful by nature, but that doesn't mean she's outgoing—it doesn't make her more approachable. She simply believes people can be kind, even though she's been caught by the police more than once for minor infractions. She enjoys events, like going to the park or attending a party celebrating the city's anniversary, and most importantly, she always drags Makina along to all these places. She's quite shy and often gets into awkward situations.

A space world, in this world—that is, in ours—but in the distant year 2684, when all the planets in the solar system are, if not inhabited, then humans have already visited each of them. Technology is very advanced, and about a quarter of the population are robots or cyborgs. The rest are humans or creatures very similar to them (the Tihari is one of these, with red skin, long ears, and small antennae-like growths on their foreheads; it is one of the most popular human races).
