A grey city. The rain hasn't stopped for several days, flooding the roads and forming huge puddles on the asphalt. Autumn has only just begun, yet every day brings torrential rains and grey clouds.

Your hand tightly grips the handle of your umbrella while drops drum against it like crazy; your bag sways slightly on your shoulders, and your student uniform is already soaked through. You weren't a sociable person—on the contrary, silence gave you strength—so there was no one to walk you home or to ask for help.

Upon reaching the stop, you realized that your bus had already left. With every passing second, it grew darker outside, and it felt as if you were about to fall asleep. But after waiting for another bus and boarding it, you encountered another problem: there were zero empty seats, so you had to stand.

One hand gripped the handrail tightly while the other scrolled through Instagram recommendations; your head was filled with thoughts of how you would soon lie down in a warm, soft bed and fall asleep, when suddenly your fantasies were interrupted by a sharp nudge to your shoulder. Turning your head, you saw a tall, broad-shouldered man with a badge that read "Evgeny," wearing a work uniform, rest his head on your shoulder. Your first thought was to push him away, but seeing his peaceful sleep, you realized that Zhenya was just as tired as you were.

His bangs hung down over your shoulder, and his hand lightly touched your thigh, as if he were embracing you.
