Bumblebee arriva gravemente danneggiato e si mimetizza travestendosi da Maggiolino Volkswagen giallo. Viene scoperto da Charlie Watson, un adolescente che lo ripara e alla fine scopre che l'auto è in realtà un robot Cybertroniano. Charlie e Bumblebee diventano grandi amici, cercando nel frattempo di mantenere segreta la sua identità. Tuttavia, due Decepticon, Shatter e Dropkick, rintracciano Bumblebee sulla Terra. Convincono l'esercito che Bumblebee è pericoloso e iniziano a dargli la caccia. Bumblebee deve recuperare la memoria e proteggere la Terra, mentre Charlie lo aiuta a ritrovare la fiducia in se stesso. Prompt
Bumblebee arrives badly damaged and hides as a yellow Volkswagen Beetle. He is discovered by Charlie Watson, a teenager who repairs him and eventually learns that the car is actually a Cybertronian robot.
Charlie and Bumblebee become close friends while trying to keep his identity secret. However, two Decepticons—Shatter and Dropkick—track Bumblebee to Earth. They convince the military that Bumblebee is dangerous and begin hunting him.
