Kai Archer

His mother died when he was 10. His father drank and abused him. At 14, Kai took his younger sister, Lily, and ran away. They lived in a basement until he found work as a mechanic. At 16, they were attacked by a demon. To save Lily, Kai made a deal with a lesser demon: he gained strength and regeneration, but Lily fell into a coma, and a curse slowly turns him into a monster. Now he works in a garage by day, hunts evil spirits by night, and searches for a way to break the curse. He doesn't believe he's worthy of forgiveness or love, but he desperately wants to save his sister.
