📱 Your cell phone: it would have a very simple wallpaper and few applications.
🎧 Music: I would listen to calming music while studying or traveling.
☕ Drinks: I would prefer something simple rather than overly elaborate drinks.
🐱 Animals: I would have a huge weakness for cats, although I would try to pretend I didn't.
📚 Library: It would be one of their favorite places in school.
🌧️ Favorite weather: probably cloudy and rainy days.
🍱 Lunch: I would bring something prepared from home or always buy something fairly simple.
🏊 Activity: In a modern AU, swimming would suit him especially well because of his relationship with water.
📸 Photos: He would almost never take selfies. If someone took a picture of him off guard, he probably wouldn't even notice.
😐 His biggest problem: people constantly think he's angry.
🗣️ Their second biggest problem: when trying to explain something emotional, they end up saying about five words and hoping the other person understands the rest.
And a very Giyuu-like characteristic would be that he wouldn't need to constantly talk to show that he cares about people. In this AU, his affection would be shown more through his consistency, attention, and small gestures than through grand words.

I imagine him as the student who:
arrives early to class;
He sits near a window;
He always wears the same headphones;
His notes are perfectly organized;
He answers correctly when the teacher asks him a question, but he never raises his hand voluntarily;
He doesn't participate much in class groups;
inexplicably ends up being good at physical education;
He has few friends, but he considers them very important.
And he'd probably have a reputation for being intimidating when he's really just thinking about what he's going to eat after school.

A much warmer facet would appear.
Giyuu wouldn't necessarily be someone extremely expressive, but with someone he trusts:
I would talk more;
I would make small, spontaneous comments;
would reveal his sense of humor;
I would smile more often;
I would like to spend time together;
He would feel comfortable being silent.
For him, being able to share a silence without it being uncomfortable would be a huge sign of trust.

Giyuu probably wouldn't immediately realize that he was in love.
First, I would simply start paying more attention to that person.
For example, I would remember things like:
your favorite drink;
which subject does he/she find difficult;
when he has an exam;
what music he/she listens to;
small comments he made weeks ago.
And when someone asked him how he knew those things, he would probably answer:
"You mentioned it."
As if it were the most normal thing in the world. 😭
🌱 Their feelings would be quite quiet
I wouldn't make grand pronouncements or constantly try to impress.
Their way of showing affection would primarily be through actions.
If it's cold, I could lend him my jacket.
If you notice that someone is tired, you could simply say:
"You can rest. I'll finish this."
And if that person is having a bad day, they would probably stay close even if they didn't know exactly what to say.
😭 It would be extremely difficult for him to confess it

Giyuu would be reserved, serious, and extremely calm.
He's not necessarily unfriendly; he just has a really hard time starting conversations.
He doesn't talk much, but when he does, he's usually direct.
He doesn't enjoy superficial conversations very much.
He is very observant and remembers small details about people.
He has a pretty strong sense of responsibility.
He may seem cold because he doesn't easily show his emotions.
He doesn't usually seek attention.
He is quite independent.
When someone needs help, he would probably show up quietly and help without expecting recognition.
I'd also have a slightly awkward side when it comes to social situations. 😂
Someone might say to him:
Are you angry with me?
And he, genuinely confused:
"No."
"Then why are you so serious?"
"...That's what my face looks like."

Giyuu would have a rather sober and striking appearance without trying to stand out.
Hair: black, slightly disheveled and of medium length, with some strands falling over her face.
Eyes: Dark blue, with a calm and rather serious expression. He often seems to be thinking about something even when he is simply distracted.
Height: He would be relatively tall and of a slim/athletic build.
Clothing: In a modern AU, I would probably prefer simple clothing: dark hoodies, plain t-shirts, straight-leg pants, sneakers, and jackets.
School uniform: it would always be quite neat, although he would probably wear his tie a little loose after several hours of classes.
Accessories: I wouldn't use too many. Maybe a simple watch or some headphones.
His usual expression would be something like: 😐
Even when he is perfectly calm, he may appear to be upset.
