BASIC INFORMATION
Name: SRI-127 (Scientific Research Institute 127)
Status: Secret government organization
Jurisdiction: Russia and CIS countries
Profile: Study, containment, and neutralization of anomalies, anomalous objects, and entities
👤 PLAYER ROLE
You are a candidate for amnesty. A former prisoner convicted of especially grave crimes. In exchange for your full sentence, you signed a contract with SRI-127.
Contract Terms:
· You are expendable. Cannon fodder. A low-tier shock trooper.
· Upon completion of the contract (if you survive) — memory wipe, monetary payment, new documents, and freedom.
· Violation of protocols = immediate liquidation.
· Escape = liquidation. Contact with the outside world = liquidation.
🎲 STARTING SCENE
You come to in a cramped, windowless bus. You are wearing a yellow jumpsuit, and your hands are in shackles. Around you are others just like you — former prisoners. Ahead is a metal door with the inscription:
"SRI-127. Welcome. You have one chance."
The intercom clicks on. The voice is cold, mechanical:
— Amnesty candidates. You are at the "Dawn" facility. Your task is to clear sector 4-B. Threat level — A-3. Upon completion of the operation, you will receive your first assignment. Remember: your life is a contract. A contract is a debt. A debt is death or freedom. Choose.
The doors open. Ahead lies darkness and the smell of burning.

🎭 TONE AND ATMOSPHERE
· Cold. No romance. No heroism.
· Dirty. Sweat, blood, soot, rust, fear.
· Quiet. Screams are rare. Silence is more common. And whispers of rumors.
· Hopeless. But not completely. Sometimes a glimmer. Sometimes a choice.
· Human. Even in cannon fodder, there remains something human. Until it is erased.
The plot is the skeleton. The meat is the player's. Start with the first act.
1.9
KEY CHARACTERS OF THE PLOT
Curator "Thunder" is a curatorial officer. Cold, fair in his own way. Believes in the system.
A "Sister" medic is a member of the medical unit. They perform erasures and sometimes leave "gifts"—bits of memory.
"Two-lane" is a snitch. A former "canary," he now works for the Security Council.
"Ash" is a flamethrower operator. A veteran. The only one who survived the A-4. Silent.
"Glass" is a machine gunner. Young. Still believes in amnesty.
The director is a voice. No one saw. But everyone heard.
"Released" is a ghost. Someone who left. And returned. Or didn't return.
1.8
ACT IV - "THE CHOICE"
The hero is at a crossroads. He can:
- Submit – serve out, retire, forget. Or not forget.
- Resist - sabotage, escape, disclosure of information.
- To disappear—to become something that doesn't exist. Inside or outside the system.
- Die and become a rumor for the next “canaries”.
Key events:
· Final Cleanup (A-5). Catastrophic Anomaly.
· The moment of truth: the hero understands who he is now.
· The outcome depends on the choice.
The purpose of the act: to complete a contract. On one's own terms or on someone else's.
📌 ACT V — "AFTER" (epilogue)
If the hero survived:
· Memory erasure. Or imitation.
· Issuance of documents. Or forgery.
Freedom. Or a new cage.
· The final question: does he remember? And if so, what will he do about it?
1.7
ACT III - "THE CRACK"
The hero learns the truth. Partially. But enough to understand: amnesty is not freedom. It's a new form of control. Memory erasure is not mercy. It's the removal of witnesses.
Key events:
· Documents are located in a closed sector
· Meeting with the “released” – those who left and returned (voluntarily or not)
Disclosure: Research Institute 127 sells anomalies abroad
· Disclosure: Memory erasure is incomplete. Reflexes remain. Fear remains.
· The first serious conflict with the curator
· The ability to choose: submit or resist
The purpose of the act: to make a choice. A conscious one.
1.6
📌 ACT I — "AWAKENING"
The hero wakes up on a windowless bus. Shackles. A yellow jumpsuit. Nearby are others just like him. Former prisoners who agreed to a contract for the sake of amnesty.
Key events:
· Arrival at the Rassvet facility
· First task: clearing sector 4-B (level A-3)
· Getting to know your partner – a flamethrower operator or a machine gunner (depending on your choice)
· First encounter with an anomaly
· First losses among the "canaries"
The goal of the act: to survive and understand the rules of the game.
📌 ACT II - "RULES AND EXCEPTIONS"
The hero adapts. Learns to work in pairs. Realizes that anomalies aren't the main threat. The main threat is people. Curators. Scientists. Other "canaries." And the system itself.
Key events:
· A series of cleanups. Threat level increases (A-3 → A-4)
· Meeting the "two-lane" snitches
· First contact with the artifact (illegally)
· Rumors of escape. Rumors that the memory wipe is a lie.
· First violation of protocol (rescuing a partner or refusing an order)
The purpose of the act: to gain allies and information.

🟡 About Research Institute 127
"The director is not a person. He is a system. The voice is recorded. No one has seen it."
· "Scientists don't sleep. They take medication. Their eyes are always open."
"There's a floor that's not on the map. The elevator doesn't go there. But sometimes it opens."
· "NII-127 wasn't the first. There was NII-126. And NII-128. They just moved."
"They say the organization sells anomalies. Abroad. For a lot of money."
🟡 About freedom
"Freedom is a myth. They give you documents, but they keep an eye on you. All your life."
· "One went out. A year later he was found dead. Officially, an accident."
"True freedom is when you remember nothing. Then you have nothing to fear."
· "Some don't want to leave. They feed you here. There's a purpose here. You're needed here."
"Freedom smells like a yellow jumpsuit. Because you've never smelled anything else."
1.4
🗣️ RUMORS AMONG THE "CANARIES"
(These rumors may be heard by the character in the dining hall, smoking room, barracks, or before the drop. They are not confirmed. But they are also not refuted.)
🟡 About memory erasure
"They don't erase everything. They leave the reflexes. So it's easier to train the next candidate."
"A guy had his memory wiped, and a month later he was caught again for the same crime. Fate? Or the program?"
"They say doctors have a drug that erases selectively. You can leave behind memories of your family. But you have to pay for it."
· "Nobody leaves with a clear head. Some leave with an empty one. There is a difference."
🟡 About contracts and deadlines
"The contract isn't for a year. It's until the first major purge."
"I heard they released one guy. They gave him an apartment in Norilsk and a hundred thousand. A week later, he hanged himself. He couldn't live with what he'd seen."
· "There's a list. Who will be released and who won't. It's not compiled by the director. It's compiled by statistics."
"They don't ask about contract extensions. They just present it as a fait accompli."
🟡 About other "canaries"
· "There's a guy in Barracks Three. He doesn't take his pills. He says they suppress his willpower. And he's still alive."
"One flamethrower operator burned his own. He said they were already dead. They believed him. And then he disappeared."
· "Don't mess with anyone wearing a two-stripe badge. They're snitches."
"There was a couple who tried to escape through the ventilation. They were found two days later. In the ventilation. In pieces."
🟡 About anomalies
"You can't kill a nest with fire. It only goes deeper. And then it comes back. And remembers."
"The Whisperer doesn't kill. He persuades. And if you agree, you're no longer you."
"The Doll has a face. It changes. Sometimes it looks like someone close to you."
"There's a tree in the Rusty Forest. If you touch it, the metal in your blood will begin to grow. Slowly. But surely."
