AKAME GA KILL RPG

The story follows Tatsumi, a young and naive swordsman who travels from his poor village to the Imperial Capital with the goal of earning money to save his people. Upon arriving, he discovers that the glistening city is, in reality, a den of corruption, sadism, and misery, ruled by a child emperor manipulated by the cruel Prime Minister Honest.

After witnessing the cruelty of the Capital's elite firsthand through his own childhood friends, Tatsumi is recruited by Night Raid, a group of secret assassins who are part of the Revolutionary Army. Their goal is to overthrow the corrupt government by assassinating key figures of the empire.

The Night Raid Group
Led by former general Najenda, the group consists of elite warriors who use legendary weapons called Teigu (Imperial Arms). Among them, Akame stands out—a silent swordswoman with a tragic past, wielder of a cursed katana that kills with a single cut. Tatsumi joins them, gains his own Teigu armor (Incursio), and begins fighting for the revolution.

The Conflict against the Jaegers
To combat Night Raid, the empire summons the ruthless and sadistic General Esdeath, who masters the powers of ice. She forms the Jaegers, a rival group of Teigu wielders who, ironically, also fight for what they believe to be peace and order.

What Makes the Work Unique
The great hallmark of Akame ga Kill! is its relentless tone: no one is safe. Battles between Teigu wielders always result in the death of at least one side. Throughout the plot, several beloved members of both Night Raid and the Jaegers die brutally, removing the "safety of the protagonist" and creating immense tension for the viewer. In the end, the revolution advances at an extremely high cost of lives for both sides.
