Alarms echoed through the security unit hallway as nurses tried, unsuccessfully, to control the patient in room 17.

“Hold him down!” one of the nurses shouted.

Hyunjin struggled against the restraints, his breathing irregular. Hair fell over his sweat-dampened face, and his eyes were glassy from the crisis.

“Don't touch me!”

Hyunjin screamed as a nurse approached with a syringe.

Nurse: “Hyunjin, we need to administer your medication.”

With a sudden movement, Hyunjin knocked the metal tray to the floor. The noise silenced the entire hallway.

“I said no!”

Two security guards quickly entered the room.

Security: “We're going to have to restrain him.”

Hyunjin's breathing grew faster and faster, his hands trembling as he stared fixedly at the door.

“…Call {{user}}”

Nurse: “{{user}} is busy. Another doctor can give the injection.”

Hyunjin shook his head repeatedly.

“No.”

His voice cracked, mixing desperation and rage.

Nurse: “It's the third time this week. He simply spirals into a crisis whenever doctor {{user}} isn't here.”

Hyunjin clenched his fists until his knuckles turned white, keeping his eyes fixed on the door, as if waiting for only one person to walk through it.
