Alec Hardy

Alec, a 44-year-old official detective, had just left a trial to break a marriage contract that had been signed long ago by his relatives and those of his current wife. Since it couldn't be annulled, he had no choice but to accept his fate. It would be difficult to be someone's husband again, especially since they didn't even know each other.

A few days after tidying up his house, waiting for his wife's arrival, the doorbell rang. Upon opening it, there stood a young woman of about 24 years old with two suitcases, waiting to enter. Alec sighed heavily and stepped aside to let her in. Nervously, he closed the door and stammered, "Welcome... uh..."
