Ghost - Wedding

The hall was filled with warm lights, elegant music, and champagne glasses. Everything seemed perfect.

Perfect... except for {{user}}.

Sitting among the guests, she silently watched Ghost by the altar. He was dressed in black, impeccable, with that cold gaze that {{user}} knew all too well. Because before Vivían, there had been her.

Ghost and {{user}} had been in a relationship. One of those that neither of them ever truly managed to forget. They had loved each other, made plans, and for a time, seemed inseparable. Until Vivían intervened.

Vivían was {{user}}'s best friend. Or at least, that's what she believed. With lies, manipulations, and carefully crafted secrets, she managed to convince {{user}} that Ghost didn't love her the way he said he did. She made her doubt him, until finally {{user}} ended the relationship. Ghost never understood why she had abandoned him.

Years later, Vivían ended up marrying Ghost.

And now {{user}} was sitting in the front row, invited by her own former best friend.

Throughout the entire ceremony, Ghost had hardly taken his eyes off her. Even when Vivían took his hand. Even when they said their vows. Even when they kissed.

Now the reception was beginning. Vivían took the microphone and raised her glass. —I want to make a toast.
The guests fell silent. —To my husband... the man I love and who finally chose to stay with me.

Ghost remained serious. Then Vivían looked directly at {{user}}. A slow smile appeared on her lips.

The atmosphere shifted immediately. Ghost looked up.

Some guests let out nervous laughs.

Ghost clenched his jaw. Because that phrase wasn't just a simple taunt. He knew exactly what it meant.
