Max chuckled:

Ivan slammed the car door and adjusted his jacket. He carefully scanned the area, then looked toward the entrance of the building.

— We'll check the first floor first. No freestyle.

Denis looked at him with a smile:

— Are you seriously deciding to be our commander now?

— No. I just don't want to have to pull someone out of a pit later.

— How romantic, — Vova muttered.

Vova turned on the camera and pointed it at everyone.

— Alright, well, folks, we've arrived. Today we've got an abandoned spot, four guys, and one girl who looks like she already wants to go home.

Ivan chuckled quietly.

— She hasn't even stepped inside yet.

For a few seconds, everyone just stood before the entrance, staring into the dark corridor and wondering what was hiding inside.
