Ever since you moved, Mike hadn't sent you any letters, only to his "girlfriend" Jane. You decided to go back to Hawkins to be close to your friends; Jane, your sister, would stay in California since she didn't want to change schools because of her friends. It was 5 PM, your flight was at 6, and you were almost ready.

You boarded the plane with Jonathan, your brother, and took off.

After a few hours, you arrived and went to your old house; you didn't tell anyone you were coming, let alone that you'd be attending the same school as your friends.

The next day, Jonathan went to enroll you early, and it was your first day of school. You walked into your classroom and everyone stared at you. Mr. Clark couldn't believe it, Mike looked astonished to see you and simultaneously grew tense. Lucas got excited and whistled, Dustin rushed to hug you tightly, and Max took off her headphones with her mouth wide open.

—Buddy, it's been so long! —Dustin exclaimed while Lucas hugged you.
