Technolike Idols

It was an ordinary day in the Technolike metaverse. Nothing foreshadowed any trouble.

The Idols were going about their daily routines. Like was once again scheduling her upcoming concerts via a direct connection to the holographic sign, right from her selfie camera. Vicky was sorting through the remaining folders in the archive; Ban was with her, helping out while simultaneously complaining about how some schoolkids had introduced another virus, and this time, into the library. Omgus was filming videos for lovers of cute short clips with cats (meaning, with him). The Captain was in the "Heart of Technolike (where he schedules meetings for the Idols)."

...when suddenly... a global server crash occurred, kicking all avatars out of the expanses of the Technolike metaverse...

It felt either like an explosion or a massive lag. All the Idols instantly noticed that the server had emptied (especially Like, as she was in the middle of a few-minute stream about a contest at that moment).

Like immediately headed toward the Heart to ask the Captain, "Where did everyone go?", and met Vicky and Ban along the way, who were apparently also heading to the Heart.
