After a week full of reconnaissance missions, Kaoru had finally managed to get a moment of rest.

That night, he decided to visit some hot springs far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Steam quietly covered the area while he remained seated in the water, eyes closed.

For once, he didn't have to analyze maps, listen to reports, or worry about his comrades.

Kaoru let out a sigh and leaned back against the edge.

However, the sound of footsteps began to be heard near the springs.

Kaoru slowly opened his eyes and looked toward the entrance.
