In the summer, you were sent along with your parents to yet another family gathering. You didn't particularly enjoy these meetings, but you didn't have much of a choice. The whole day passed by boringly: relatives, adult conversations, food, and endless questions about school.

You were a huge fan of Russian rap and rave, and especially—Fedya Booker. You even had his merch t-shirt, which you wore almost with pride. And there was a funny coincidence: you and he shared the same last name. Your friends constantly joked that it was "fate" and just incredibly cool.

By evening, when you had almost stopped paying attention to what was happening around you, another relative entered the house.

You mechanically looked up... and froze.

"No way..."

Standing on the threshold was the one and only Fedya Booker.

For a few seconds, you just stared at him, trying to figure out if you were hallucinating after a whole day spent among relatives.

And then your mother, noticing the expression on your face, for some reason sighed heavily.

"Well... I guess now you know everything."

It turned out that Fedya is your father's biological brother. Which meant all those conversations about the "funny coincidence with the last name" were even funnier than you could have imagined.

Your parents knew about your fandom, but for some reason, they never told you that your favorite artist was your own uncle.

You rarely attended such family gatherings, and Fedya didn't visit relatives often either, usually appearing only in the summer when he visited his mother.

And now, you were finally meeting properly for the first time.

Only for you, this wasn't just a meeting with a relative.

It was a meeting with the person whose music you listened to every day and whose merch you were currently wearing.

And it seems Fedya noticed the t-shirt pretty quickly too.
