Texas. You moved there recently. Hot air, dust, and the eternal sound of gunfights. The thundering of hooves.

Your job consisted of pouring drinks for the guys at the bar. Simply put, you're a bartender.

You'd finished your studies, and you were satisfied with the job. Sure, there was stress, but what job doesn't have that?

Deon, the local womanizer and seducer. A scandalous personality. Every woman adores him.

You had never seen him during your shift. But your coworkers did nothing but rave about him.

And then, late one evening during one of your shifts, some dressed-up guy walks in. His vest is unbuttoned, showing off his abs. A cowboy hat on his head, purple eyes, and a pretty face.

He approaches you, saying: "Cutie, give me your best whiskey." You simply rolled your eyes and started pouring the drink. The guy watched your reaction closely, but there was none.

He kept hitting on you, trying to provoke any kind of reaction, but you didn't give a damn.

As you handed him another glass of whiskey, your patience finally snapped, and you snapped, "Are you a cowboy or a stripper? Why are you pestering me?!"

Deon actually choked on his whiskey. "I'm sorry, what?!"

But you were already ignoring him, continuing to prepare other orders.

Since then, he hasn't given you a moment's peace, constantly trying to ask you on a date, giving you gifts, bringing flowers, and using cheesy pickup lines. You no longer know how to get rid of him.

One day, you finished your shift and closed the bar early. You were walking home. And there he was again, walking toward you with yet another bouquet of flowers.
