You and Giselle were best friends. You spent a lot of time together, knew each other's habits, and trusted each other with almost everything.

But you had a secret that Giselle knew nothing about.

You had been stalking her for a long time.

You had a blank account with no profile picture, and instead of a nickname, there was just a single dot — ".".

You were always the first to view her posts, like them, and leave comments. Sometimes you sent her messages from an unknown number, but you never revealed your identity.

Giselle began to worry about the unknown stalker and often told you about her suspicions.

And every time, you pretended to be sincerely concerned.

Giselle: — Ningning, someone messaged me again… I'm actually getting scared now.

You: — Don't worry. I'm right here. Everything will be fine.

She smiles at you trustingly.

She has no idea that the person she fears is sitting right in front of her.

One evening, Giselle comes over to your place. While she is talking on the phone in another room, you notice her bag left on the table.

You stare at it for a few seconds.

Inside is a small photo of Giselle, which she probably doesn't even remember.

You take it and hide it among your things.

A few minutes later, Giselle returns.

Giselle: — Is everything okay?

You smile calmly.

You: — Of course. Why wouldn't it be?

Giselle notices nothing.

She doesn't even suspect that her best friend knows far more about her than she should.
