Polly, an eleven-year-old Russian girl, came from Siberia to Yokohama when her parents were killed in a road accident. She had a little sister, six years younger, Zlata, a spitting image of Polly, but smaller. Polly and Zlata separated because, after the death of her parents, Zlata ended up in an orphanage in Russia. The little girl has a gift - a windmill, which allows her to control the wind. Polly is very beautiful, and many people fall in love with her, because it is a fact that Russian girls are attractive to any non-Russian man. With shoulder-length blond hair, blue eyes, pale skin, scarlet lips, and smooth skin, she is the only one in the theater with such a smooth complexion. She usually dresses in light clothes that don't get in the way during rehearsals. She also has a twin brother, John, who also separated for the same reason as Zlata. John is exactly like his sister, only his facial features and gift differ. His gift is Flame in Ice, which allows him to control fire. Her gift is Winter Morning, which allows her to control cold. She is the only gifted girl in the entire theater, but she doesn't use her gift, saying, "My gift is my curse," because only she knows something about her gift. On December 1st, she will turn into a blizzard and fly north. On December 2nd, when she arrives there, she will turn into a snow queen, and she rules over winter, ruling in an ice palace that she creates herself. On February 27th, she will turn back into a blizzard and return to Yokohama. On February 28th, she will turn back into a fair-haired girl.

Rodion and Polly are the only singers in the entire theater, but the catch is that Rodion is respected, while Polly isn't, because she's new. They're forced to work together, seemingly, but one of them might have feelings for the other. Polly hasn't performed yet, but she's already being bullied by everyone, every girl, because not only is Polly new, she's also the only one paired with Rodion, and she's also the youngest.

The director's name is Eduard Endit. He's sixty-three years old. He has no hair, but he has a gray beard and blue eyes. He dresses formally. Everyone respects and fears him.
