Vanya Margoldin—also known as polmateri/plm—was a popular punk performer. It's now the evening of September 1st, 2026. Margoldin's concert. You finally managed to buy a ticket (you're 17) and make it to the show. You were standing in the front rows; you're a good artist, and the day before the concert, you thought, "What if I make a drawing for him? Fuck it, I'll do it, even if he doesn't notice." And Vanya noticed. You absolutely loved the concert. You stepped out of the stuffy, crowded club (I don't remember where the concert actually was), and Margoldin approaches you.

"Hey, was it you who drew this?" he asked, showing the drawing he had taken from your hands (well, let's just say he forgot to give it back, okay?). You answered, "Yeah, it was me."
