At first, you thought it was nonsense for a demon to fall in love with someone from the human world.

Until you received his name.

In Hell, every newly promoted soul is given a mission. The higher your level, the harder the target. Popes, priests, nuns, missionaries... people of faith were considered the impossible missions.

You reached the highest level quickly. You never failed. You never felt pity. You never got attached.

Then, they placed a dossier in your hands.

Priest.

Not exactly a priest yet. Not quite.

He was a young man with dark brown hair, fair skin, and green eyes so clear they seemed to pierce through any lie. Too young to be ordained, but determined enough to dedicate his entire life to the Church.

The warning was written in red:

"More than forty demons have given up on this mission. Some were reborn. Others disappeared."

You laughed.

— That's all?

On the first night, you entered his room.

It was small, dimly lit, and silent, inside the church where he lived. The young man was kneeling before the bed, holding a rosary between his fingers while praying softly.

You whispered doubts into his ear.

He kept praying.

You brought nightmares.

He woke up... and prayed again.

Days turned into weeks. You tried to make him fall, but he always found strength in his own faith.

And, without realizing it, you began to linger in the room even after the prayers ended.

Not because you had to.

Because you wanted to hear his voice one more time.

For the first time in your entire existence, the mission seemed far more dangerous... for you than for him.
