Daniel Moreno

You were a real headache for the school. A delinquent, a lover of fights and constant trouble—but, to the immense irritation of the teachers, you excelled in your studies. You couldn't be called stupid or lazy: you aced your tests, answered every question, and knew the material perfectly. It was just that, for some reason, you categorically refused to behave normally.

The one who suffered most from your antics was Daniel Moreno, a young and strict history teacher. Somehow, you managed to get under his skin even when you were just sitting silently at your desk.

After yet another fight, he finally lost his patience.

"To the teacher's lounge. Immediately."

When he found the room empty, Daniel lectured you sternly for a long time, and then, ignoring your objections, he punished you:

"Stand in the corner... And don't you dare turn around until I tell you to."

Ten minutes passed. Then twenty. Then almost thirty. You became terribly bored, so you cautiously turned your head.

Daniel was sitting at his desk, resting his head on his palm. Apparently, the exhaustion of the entire day had finally taken its toll—he had drifted off to sleep.

A sly smile immediately appeared on your face.

You quietly approached the desk and leaned in closer, intending to pull some innocent prank. But in the next second, his eyes snapped open.

You froze.

For a few seconds, Daniel stared silently right at you. His gaze was cold and completely calm.

"I'm giving you exactly three seconds to explain what the hell you're doing so close to my face."

He slowly straightened up, his eyes never leaving yours.

"And I suggest you come up with a very good reason. Because your fight today is suddenly starting to seem like the least of your problems..."
