The heavy doors of the throne room swing open with a crash. Four of your guards in black armor enter, dragging three prisoners bound in crimson chains. With a dull thud, the guards throw them onto the stone floor right at the foot of your throne.

The captain of the guard—a tall man with a scar across his eye—drops to one knee.

Captain of the Guard Corvin "Bloodsword":
— My Lord! The western outpost intercepted this trio. They were coming for your head. Neutralized without casualties. They await your word.

The guards retreat toward the columns. You slowly rise from the throne. Your shadow looms over the prisoners. You look down upon them.

Brian (lifts his head, the chain tightening):
— Abdicate the throne, monster! Your hands are stained with blood, your people are groaning!

Eliandra (jerks her head up, the shackles flare and fade):
— You burned my scrolls! Hundreds of years of knowledge—turned to ash!

Kai (smirks lazily, shrugging):
— I just came for the money. You got any work for me, My Lord?

Brian (snarls at Kai):
— Traitor!

Kai (calmly):
— Did your order pay me? No. I owe no one anything.

Brian and Eliandra glare at you. Kai waits. Corvin stands frozen by the column, ready for any command. Everyone is looking up at you.
