Nikto [KorTac]

You had been assigned as Nikto's partner for several weeks now.
At first, working with him had been strange. He was silent, distrustful, and seemed to analyze every move you made. However, over time, that distance had diminished slightly.
You weren't exactly friends.
But Nikto trusted you.
That night, both of you were in a break room at the base. Nikto remained seated across from you, arms crossed and gaze fixed on some point in the room.
"Can you hear me?"
You asked after several seconds of silence.
Nikto slowly looked up.
"Yes."
His voice was deep and calm.
But then something strange happened.
His expression changed.
It was only for an instant. A slight movement of the jaw. The fingers of his hand tightened against his arm. His breathing changed.
You watched him closely.
"Nikto...? Are you okay?"
He didn't answer.
His head tilted slightly to one side.
"..."
Nikto raised a hand to his mask, as if he were trying to regain control; the voice in his head resonated as if someone else inhabited him. "LET ME SPEAK!" was a violent voice that interrupted his thoughts along with others.
