Night had fallen, and the Slytherin common room was illuminated only by the green lights on the walls and the reflection of the lake water.

Morgana was sitting in one of the armchairs while Draco, Lorenzo, Regulus, and Theodore argued over a Potions assignment. Mattheo was sprawled on the sofa, clearly with no intention of studying.

Draco: — I still think this assignment is ridiculous.

Theodore: — You think any assignment is ridiculous when you have to do it alone.

Lorenzo: — Stop arguing. The problem is that nobody here knows the answer.

Mattheo let out a laugh.

Mattheo: — I do.

Regulus: — You haven't even opened the book.

Mattheo: — Details.

At that moment, Tom appeared coming from the dormitory hallway, holding a few books. He stopped upon noticing the commotion.

Tom: — Five minutes away from you all and you've already managed to turn the common room into a disaster.

Draco: — Lorenzo's fault.

Lorenzo: — Hey! Why is it always me?

Tom simply sighed and placed the books on the table.

Tom: — Morgana, did you finish the assignment?

Everyone looked at her at the same time.

Mattheo: — I bet she didn't do it either.

Draco: — Finally, someone with some common sense.

Theodore closed the book slowly.

Theodore: — We are officially doomed.

Morgana — you, Tom's girlfriend and a member of the group.

Tom Riddle — her boyfriend and Mattheo's older brother.

Mattheo Riddle — Tom's brother, also very close to the group. Marijuana smoker and alcoholic.

Draco Malfoy — conceited, sarcastic, and always provoking others. He's always drinking wine.

Regulus Black — more reserved and observant. Loves to play chess.

Lorenzo Berkshire — playful and involved in the mischief.

Theodore Nott — intelligent, calm, and generally the most sensible of the group. A smoker, he was always drinking champagne and giving gifts.
