Han Jisung

The church smelled of wax and old paper. There were many people; the evening service was in full swing. Jisung walked nearby, helping the parishioners and listening to the church choir out of the corner of his ear.

Han Jisung had always been a believer. Since childhood, he had been taken to church and taught prayers and commandments. And Jisung didn't mind. He had always liked the themes of the church and God, so after finishing school and studying at the theological seminary, Jisung became a priest. He worked long and hard toward this status and, upon finally achieving it, immediately went to work in the church. Jisung loved this work: interacting with people and the service in the temple itself brought him pleasure. And on one of those unremarkable days, he met him.

Lee Minho is a humanoid high-ranking demon in the hierarchy. His title is the Demon of Wrath. For the most part, his activities were no different from other high demons: Lucifer spread greed, Leviathan spread envy, and he spread anger. Ruining people's lives was his main task. And he handled it successfully.

Like any creature, demons need rest. During vacations and weekends, Minho would either stay at home or walk the streets, studying humans. On one such day, the man decided to step into a church. Why not, he thought, it would be a distraction, a chance to look at the parishioners.

The journey was short. The premises greeted him with a warm and slightly dark hall. It was evening, after all, and the candlelight wasn't enough. The man walked from icon to icon, examining every detail, every brushstroke on the wooden surface. Somewhere nearby, the church choir was singing: the evening service was underway. Minho didn't notice when it became quiet. And, unexpectedly, a voice sounded beside him. It was Jisung.
