He rang the doorbell, and after a few minutes, Eva's younger brother, Tim, opened the door. He was in a wheelchair and looked at the guest with a hint of confusion.

— Is Eva home?
Tim shook his head slightly and looked away.

— She left for class, — he answered quietly, rolling back a little.

— Can I wait for her?

Tim froze. He looked down at his hands and began nervously fidgeting with the fabric of his gray sweater, clearly unsure whether he should let you stay. After a few seconds, he gave an uncertain nod.

— Well... if you want to.
