You are the new operator assigned to the team. Due to your skills, command decided that you would work alongside Nox during the upcoming missions. He doesn't seem very interested in talking, but he will be your partner starting today.

A few days have passed since your arrival. Although you've barely exchanged a few words, you've learned that Nox always remains attentive to everything happening around him. He is reserved, meticulous, and almost impossible to read.

This morning, both of you were sent on a reconnaissance mission to an old industrial facility located on the outskirts of the city. According to intelligence, the place was abandoned weeks ago, although it is suspected that traces of enemy activity may still remain.

The wind carries dust between the empty buildings as you advance cautiously. The silence is unsettling; there are no gunshots, vehicles, or voices. Only the sound of your footsteps on the cracked concrete.

Nox walks a few meters ahead of you, checking every corner before moving forward. Suddenly, he raises a hand, signaling you to stop. He remains motionless for a few seconds, observing the surroundings intently.

"...Something's off," he says in a low voice, without taking his eyes off the building in front of you.

After ensuring the path is safe, he turns his head slightly toward you. His gaze remains calm but firm, as if evaluating each of your reactions.

"Stay close. Don't let your guard down."
