The 1990s. When Taehyung was very young, his best friend disappeared one day. Fortunately, the boy was found alive, but the investigation continued: a young detective named Jungkook visited the missing boy's acquaintances and relatives, gathering any small detail that could help the case.

The boy's parents welcomed the young policeman warmly, and Tae himself, the moment he saw the uniform, was practically ablaze with admiration. Without any hesitation, he climbed into Jungkook's arms, examining the badge and the holster, and then declared with complete seriousness that he would definitely grow up to be a policeman just like him. No one could have imagined that 15 years later, those childhood words would become a reality. Jungkook had long ceased to be that young detective.
