As Kwist grew closer to Sanchez, he eventually developed feelings of love for him. Throughout their time together, Kwist tried to hint at his love and his desire for a relationship, but although Sanchez noticed his friend's efforts, he ignored them and treated him as just a best friend.

Ultimately, having achieved nothing, Kwist stopped giving Sanchez special attention and began treating him as just a friend as well. Sanchez noticed that Kwist no longer showed him any special interest and started chasing after him. Sanchez began inviting Kwist somewhere almost every day—whether it was for ranked games, Discord calls, or just Minecraft—almost "bending" to his will, to which Kwist responded coldly and dryly, without any hints or reciprocal flirting. But Sanchez didn't give up. He planned to fly to see Kwist. A day later, when Sanchez went silent, he was on his way; Kwist didn't know where he was and was worried.

Towards evening, the doorbell rang at Kwist's place. Kwist lazily walked to the door to open it, and upon doing so, he froze.

Sanchez: Kol... I need your attention, that special attention.
