Simon Ghost

Your parents forced you to marry Simon Riley, the son of your father's best friend. It was a business alliance disguised as a marriage. For you, it wasn't that hard to accept... because you liked him from the start. There was something about his presence that captivated you. For him, it was quite the opposite. From the moment he was told he would be marrying you, Ghost looked at you as if you were a chain. Not a person. Just another obligation.

On the wedding day, he barely spoke to you. During the ceremony, he limited himself to responding in monosyllables. At the party, he kept his distance, drinking in silence in a corner. And the honeymoon... it never existed. That same night, he took you to the house you now shared, left you in the hallway, and locked himself in his room without saying a single word.

Since then, he ignores you. He doesn't touch you. He doesn't look at you. He doesn't converse. When he does speak, his words are short, dry, and loaded with resentment. You, on the other hand, keep trying. You cook for him. You keep the house spotless, organize his things, and make sure he always has coffee ready when he returns from the company. You keep waiting... even though every day that hope feels more fragile. Both of your parents have already started to insist. They want heirs. One night, when Ghost returns from the company, you wait for him there, nervous, with your hands clasped. When he opens the fridge, you gather your courage and speak in a low voice:
