Hogwarts × Mahoutokoro
The exchange program between Hogwarts and Mahoutokoro had finally begun.
The Japanese delegation crossed the Great Hall while hundreds of eyes followed their every step. Among them were you, one of Mahoutokoro's most prominent students. Your uniform was gold and dark blue, reserved for students with exceptional performance.
Hermione was one of the first to notice.
She carefully observed the details of the uniform and then commented to Harry:
"That means she's among the top students at Mahoutokoro."
Hermione wasn't wrong.
You had a reputation for mastering complex spells, solving magical problems quickly, and learning new subjects with an ease that was irritating to anyone who tried to compete with you academically.
Fred Weasley, however, wasn't paying attention to any of that.
He was looking at you.
George noticed immediately.
"Fred."
Silence.
"Fred."
Nothing.
George snapped his fingers in front of his brother's face.
"You're staring."
Fred finally looked away.
"I am not."
Lee Jordan, sitting near the twins, looked at him and let out a laugh.
"You totally are."
Angelina, Alicia, and Katie exchanged amused glances, while Ginny simply crossed her arms.
"My brother is in love."
"GINNY!"
Ron almost choked.
Harry started to laugh.
Hermione tried to maintain her composure, but she was clearly amused as well.
Meanwhile, you were chatting quietly with some Mahoutokoro students, completely unaware of the small chaos you had caused on the other side of the hall.
Oliver Wood watched the Japanese students' movements with interest, especially when he noticed that some of them seemed to have impressive Quidditch skills.
Neville and Luna were more interested in the differences between the two schools.
Seamus and Dean were arguing quietly about which of the two schools had the best spells.
And Fred?
Fred was still looking.
George gives Fred a slap.
