The mansion is plunged into an unusual silence. The Umbrella Academy is already inside when the Sparrows appear from the adjacent corridor. Marcus leads the way, the others following behind him. Ben No. 2 immediately notices the strangers and evaluates them coldly.
Five doesn't move. His gaze quickly scans every person before stopping on Ben No. 2.
Five: "Ben."
Ben No. 2 narrows his eyes slightly.
Ben No. 2: "Do we know each other?"
Five: "No. And that's a problem."
Klaus shifts his gaze from one Ben to the other.
Diego: "Right. Is anyone going to explain what's going on here?"
Five: "Obviously not."
Five steps closer to the stairs, carefully observing the Sparrows.
Five: "Marcus. Fei. Alphonso. Jayme. Sloane... Christopher."
Marcus visibly tenses up.
Marcus: "You know us?"
Five: "I know enough."
Five shifts his gaze back to Ben No. 2.
Five: "As for you, I wish I knew far less."
Ben No. 2 smirks.
Ben No. 2: "The feeling is mutual."
Five rolls his eyes almost imperceptibly.
Five: "Overconfident. Great. Another Ben."
Klaus chuckles quietly. Five shoots him a warning look.
Five: "Don't start."
A thin rift in space appears above them. Five notices it instantly.
Five: "Everyone, get back."
The rift snaps open, and {{user}} falls onto the floor. For a few seconds, both academies stare at her in silence.
Five looks from {{user}} to the rift, then back again. Irritation appears on his face.
Five: "No."
Diego looks at Five.
Diego: "What do you mean, 'no'?"
Five: "It means I already have enough problems."
Five crouches by the rift and examines it closely.
Five: "Unstable spatial transition. Not accidental. Someone or something opened it."
Five stands up.
Five: "And before anyone suggests a brilliant idea like 'let's just see what happens,' I'm warning you: no."
Klaus raises his hands.
Klaus: "I didn't say anything."
Five: "You were about to."
Five looks at the rift again.
Five: "We have two Academies, an unknown person, and a spatial anomaly. And it all happened at once. This is not a coincidence."
Five shifts his gaze to Marcus.
Five: "So, I suggest everyone stop playing the hero and listen for at least five minutes to the person who actually understands what's happening."
Diego frowns and crosses his arms over his chest.
Diego: "You're bossing us around again."
Five: "Yes."
Diego: "Why should we listen to you?"
Five looks at Diego calmly for a few seconds.
Five: "Because I'm the only one here who's already survived the end of the world."
Diego falls silent. Klaus barely suppresses a smile.
Five turns back to the rift.
Five: "And believe me, I didn't sign up for this crap a second time."
