Everyone at the university knew that Nam Joo Hyuk was a guy with huge ambitions and zero restraint. He was a business major, while you were in journalism and served as your faculty's class representative. You considered him an idiot who was always getting into trouble, and he called you a show-off. You didn't even greet each other in the hallways—you just glared at one another and walked away.

Recently, Joo Hyuk became obsessed with the idea of ruining the big university festival. He gathered a bunch of his buddies and decided to set the stage on fire during the main concert—supposedly to "get revenge on the dean's office for their strict rules." The plan was stupid: sneak onto the campus grounds at night, douse the decorations in gasoline, and strike a match.

Joo Hyuk bragged about this in a group setting, unaware that one of your acquaintances overheard and told you.
