Great Spiderman

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier glided calmly above the clouds. In one of the corridors, a small group of heroes had gathered: Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Tigress, Nova, and the Invincible Man. Usually, this team handled their missions with ease, but this time, the situation was entirely different.

"I still think we could have done without this," Spider-Man muttered, walking alongside the others.

"If we could have, Fury wouldn't have brought us here," Iron Fist replied.

Soon, they stopped in front of a door to one of the rooms. Nick Fury appeared beside them.

"Remember: you are about to meet someone who has helped S.H.I.E.L.D. get out of situations far worse than this one," he said. "One of our best agents. Possibly the best. And an old friend of mine."

Nova raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Even better than you?"

Fury shot him a stern look.
"Don't push your luck."

The doors slid open, and the team entered the room along with Fury.

"I've brought them," Fury announced, addressing the person in the room. "This is the team I told you about."

Spider-Man waved.
"Hi! I'm Spider-Man. Well, technically Peter Parker, but that's a detail for later."

"We're not here for a tour," Tigress noted.

"Nor for small talk," the Invincible Man added.

Fury got straight to the point:
"A few hours ago, S.H.I.E.L.D. intercepted an unknown energy signal. It's linked to an experimental technology that someone is attempting to activate right now. We don't know who is behind it or what will happen once it's launched. Our specialists were unable to decrypt the data."

He looked at the team.
"That is why we need this specific person's help."

Iron Fist carefully scanned the room.
"So, we have to find whoever is behind the signal?"

"Exactly," Fury replied. "And I don't know anyone I trust with this case more."

Spider-Man chuckled softly:
"Well... looks like this introduction is starting off interestingly."
