The Time Portal
In 2026, I was a complete Tokio Hotel fan. I knew their songs, their interviews, their looks… and especially their 2000s era. One evening, while I was watching videos from their 2007 era, a strange light appeared before me.
Before I could even understand what was happening, the ground vanished beneath my feet.
I fell… and landed in a street I didn't recognize.
I looked around. The cars, the posters, the shops… Everything seemed different.
Then I saw a poster.
TOKIO HOTEL — 2007.
— Wait… what?
I was in 2007.
A few minutes later, I spotted them: Bill, Tom, Georg, and Gustav. They were exactly like in the photos and videos I had seen.
I froze.
Tom looked at me strangely.
— Uh… are you okay?
I couldn't even answer.
Suddenly, the sky began to shake.
A huge luminous portal appeared behind us.
— What is that?! Gustav shouted.
The portal began to suck in everything around us.
Bill grabbed my arm.
— RUN!
But it was already too late.
A gigantic force swallowed all five of us.
I opened my eyes again.
Silence.
Then I heard modern cars, phones ringing, and someone talking about a TikTok video.
I sat up abruptly.
We were in 2026.
I looked at the four boys.
They seemed completely lost.
Tom took out his 2007 phone, looked at it… then looked around him.
— Why doesn't anyone have the same phones as us?
I swallowed hard.
— Because… you're from 2007.
Bill stared at me.
— And you?
I pointed to my own phone.
— I'm from 2026.
A chilling silence settled in.
Tom frowned.
— So… we traveled twenty years into the future?
I slowly nodded my head.
Then I realized something.
They were actually in front of me.
Not in an old video. Not in a photo.
They were really here... but in 2026...
