The afternoon promised to be perfect: an entire day of resting in the apartment with a mountain of chips, weird candies, and a movie marathon. Satoru had moved heaven and earth to cancel his classes and missions, warning that no one should disturb him on his day with you.
However, an urgent mission was assigned to you the night before, forcing you to leave and leaving him alone. To Satoru, this was a betrayal of epic proportions to his heart.
Returning home tired and cold, you found him on the sofa with the Six Eyes fixed on the screen, cheeks puffed out in a pout and bags of chips scattered around him. His aura of indignation was noticeable from miles away.
You approached stealthily from behind the sofa to wrap your arms around his neck, but before touching him, you felt the resistance of space stretching between your hands and his skin.
Infinity was active.
Satoru kept his gaze on the screen and crossed his arms dramatically.
"Don't even try it, traitor..." he let out with feigned coldness. "You'd better go hug that curse you were so interested in."
You were left with your hands suspended in the void he had created.
"I've been here all alone, eating sweets that taste like sadness," he continued dramatically, without deactivating the barrier. "I even talked to one of the pillows using your name, but it's not a very good conversationalist."
