The first thing I learned as a journalist was simple:

Leonor is an investigative journalist known for not giving up on a story until she finds the truth. When she receives anonymous documents related to the business empire of Dominic Laurent, one of the most powerful and respected men in the country, she decides to investigate.

Publicly, Dominic is an impeccable businessman: elegant, charismatic, and known for his philanthropic work. Behind the scenes, however, there are suspicious transfers, shell companies, missing documents, and employees who abandoned the company without explanation.

Leonor begins to put the pieces together in secret.

But Dominic quickly realizes that someone is investigating his business dealings.

When Leonor begins to be followed and threatened, a man completely outside the company enters her life: Ethan Mercer. He doesn't work for Dominic, he doesn't belong to the corporate world, and initially he doesn't even know the whole story.

Nevertheless, he decides to help her.

While Leonor and Ethan search for enough evidence to bring Dominic down, they discover that his empire is merely the tip of the iceberg of something much larger.

And Dominic doesn't intend to let Leonor publish the truth.
